It's Easter table styling time! Well... almost. Easter Sunday is March 27th this year and I feel so ready for spring! We scheduled an Easter egg hunt at a local farm for our kids and I'm starting to plan our Easter dinner menu, think about the guest list and how I want to set the table. In the spirit of celebrating the beauty of spring, I created two styles (along with some great sources) for how to set your Easter table.
SIMPLE + CLASSIC STYLE
A great table setting is all about the layers, but I can't stand when a table is full of useless decorative stuff. It feels a little claustrophobic. The first option I created is classic, simple and even kid-friendly. Stripes are always classic and this gorgeous Cabana Stripe Tablecloth can be used all summer! Add in Peach Latte Dinner Plates for a pop of color and a simple White Napkin with Light Blue Trim over it. Gold Flatware goes well placed to the side and Speckled Egg Chocolates + Fresh Crop Chocolates look adorable at each place setting. A cluster of short clear vases with pink peonies along the table simply compliments the real star: the Coconut Bunny Cake from Everyday Occasions. And don't forget the adorable FREE Easter Banner Printable from Melissa Esplin. It is gorgeous on either table style!
FORMAL + FANCY
This table is more sophisticated and "grown-up". Start with this stunning Ribboned Fronds Tablecloth (that you can use for Thanksgiving too!) and begin by layering Gold Charger Plates under these perfectly springy Floral Rim Dinner Plates. Traditional Blue and White Stripe Linen Napkins look beautiful with Rose Gold Flatware tied with a piece of Pink Velvet Ribbon around each set and Balloon Wine Glasses bring in a touch of rose gold to compliment the flatware. The Peonies in Vase from One Kings Lane would be stunningly fragrant if real, but if you enjoy faux arrangements, these are a beautiful option that can be used throughout a traditional home and will be an amazing centerpiece of your Easter table.
And lastly, here are a few of the recipes I'm thinking of making for Easter dinner! If you have a favorite that I just have to try, please e-mail it to me!
Riesling Peach Glazed Ham
Broccoli + Gruyere Gratin
Roasted Carrots with Honey + Lemon
Lion House Rolls
Carrot Cake with Brown Butter Cream Cheese Frosting
I hope you have a beautiful, delicious Easter filled with wonderful memories next to your loved ones as you welcome a new season!
